Our School Day

At Westborough we work a 'continental day'. Our school day starts and finishes earlier than most other primary schools.

Since we started working this way in 2005 our staff have noticed that children work better during teaching periods and that there are far less problems carried over from playtimes.

7:00 am

School is open for children from 7:00 a.m. This period is supervised by a responsible adult.

Westborough Breakfast Club from 7:00 am

Parents and children have access to the Library from 7.00 a.m.

7:55 am

Teachers are in their classroom to receive children when the bell rings at 7:55 a.m. Children walk to their classrooms from the playground or library – at Westborough children do not ‘line up’.
